Who is Azawi?

Azawi is a multi-talented singer-songwriter. She was inspired to do music and dance years ago after frequently visiting the Ndere Cultural Centre to watch the dance festivals.

She later on joined Kika Dance Troupe in 2005. After leaving Kika Dance Troupe, Azawi started singing in school with the help of a friend, and brother, who mentored her as a singer/songwriter. That is when Azawi started writing for a few artists locally, in Uganda. Azawi has written songs for Lydia Jazmine, Nina Roz, Eddy Kenzo, etc.

During her journey as a songwriter, Azawi was discovered by Swangz Avenue and this has put her on a path to stardom. She is currently have  five trucks under a Album Titled, LO-FIT.

Ministry of education burns falls information circulating on social media.

 The Ministry of Education and Sports has dismissed as false a communication purportedly attributed to the Chairperson of the COVID 19 Taskforce, stating that schools will reopen next year. According to document that was making rounds on social media, candidate classes will return to school in August 2020, national exams will be held early 2021 while other schools will also open next year. But Mr Patrick Muinda, the ministry of Education spokesman, said the information communicated is false, misleading and must therefore be dismissed and ignored. “The Ministry of Education and Sports does not issue Circulars and Policy guidelines through Social Media as a formal channel for Policy Communication. The formal communication with regard to the guidelines for re-opening schools will therefore be communicated to the Public as soon as the final consultative process ends,” he said on Thursday evening. Crysto Panda clears his fans about the lost of his newly born baby

NTV Dance Party host, Crysto Panda, today being Father’s day informed his lovely fans and followers that he lost his  newly born baby  two weeks a go. Through his Instagram page, Crysto Panda posted the sad news as below; “Thank you so much to whoever has wished me A Happy father’s Day  But unfortunately I am so sorry to inform y’all that I lost my daughter Two weeks back  My baby got tired during delivery and because of that she got dead brain   cells which caused multiple seizure attacks , Because she was still young the doctors couldn’t operate her because her skull was still soft , so they suggested we hold up abit longer she grows like we do the operation in two months  But as you know the seizures became many and she couldn’t take it any longer so she passed on when she was a month old  Many of y’all have been asking me about her of late and I wasn’t brave enough to speak about it  and that’s why also I wasn’t posting about her like before  Because of the love I
