Uganda confirms 28 New Covid-19 cases.

As per 27th May 2020, 28 new cases ere registered in Uganda bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 281.

 Out of the 28, 21 are truck drivers who arrived to Uganda from S.Sudan via Elegu while the other 7 are the contacts of the previously confirmed truck drivers.
All of them were under quarantine during the time of test.

 In addition, 7 foreign truck drivers ( 4 from Tanzania, 1 from Eritrea, 1 from Congo and 1 from Burundi) all handed over to their country of origin.

The samples which were taken from the boarder points are 1456 while 548 were from the community totaling to 2004.

The number of recoveries are now 69 according to the Ministry of Health.
