According to the Health CAS, Sexual Reproductive and Health Rights (SRHR) needs must be prioritized particularly over reported cases of teenage pregnancy.
“We are interrogating the data with the counties. Teenage motherhood is catastrophic and disempowering. One pregnancy is a pregnancy too many. We have reviewed this number. Teenage numbers present late. The current data from the study highlighted is inaccurate especially when we look at the antenatal data,” she said.
