I am not dealing with Cannibas, Minister of Health Jane Ruth Aceng

Minister of Health Dr. Jane Ruth Aceng this Evening dismisses the social media posts alleging that she is in trouble over Cannabis.

Others are saying I am dealing in cannabis. It's unfortunate that some people always choose to circulate wrong information, Aceng added.

She said she has not issued any authorization for cannabis growing in Uganda and that Cabinet is yet to consider the feasibility of this.

She has requested the population to ignore the wrong media posts and treat it baseless and malicious.
