Uganda Covid-19 cases rise to 522

The Ministry of Health today Thursday said more 15 cases of Covid-19 had been confirmed, pushing Uganda’s tally to 522.

Six of the new cases are truck drivers, four of whom arrived via the Mutukula border and two from Busia.
The ministry says the other nine cases are from alerts and contacts to previously confirmed cases. These are from Amuru (3), Kyotera (2), Buikwe (1), Nakaseke (1), Lira (1) and Kampala (1) districts.
Additionally, 33 foreign truck drivers who also tested positive were denied entry into Uganda.
The total number of recoveries currently stands at 82. No fatalities have been reported yet.

Crysto Panda clears his fans about the lost of his newly born baby

NTV Dance Party host, Crysto Panda, today being Father’s day informed his lovely fans and followers that he lost his  newly born baby  two weeks a go. Through his Instagram page, Crysto Panda posted the sad news as below; “Thank you so much to whoever has wished me A Happy father’s Day  But unfortunately I am so sorry to inform y’all that I lost my daughter Two weeks back  My baby got tired during delivery and because of that she got dead brain   cells which caused multiple seizure attacks , Because she was still young the doctors couldn’t operate her because her skull was still soft , so they suggested we hold up abit longer she grows like we do the operation in two months  But as you know the seizures became many and she couldn’t take it any longer so she passed on when she was a month old  Many of y’all have been asking me about her of late and I wasn’t brave enough to speak about it  and that’s why also I wasn’t posting about her like before  Because of the love I

Singer Eddy kenzo returns to Uganda

Singer Eddy kenzo on 25th of July 2020 returned to his mother land Uganda after spending almost six month in West Africa where he went for a music concert but unfortunately corona virus hit the world and he could not return to Uganda. Eddy Kenzo and other fellows who repatriated from West Africa. Eddy kenzo on his Facebook page expressed his Pleasure for him returning back to the country as below; Fellow Ugandans, I greet you in the name of Allah and the almighty God. Today, I and other Ugandans arrived safely at the Entebbe International Airport aboard Uganda Airlines. First and foremost, I thank God for enabling me to come back home safely. This all seemed like a far fetched possibility but by His Grace, I and very many Ugandans have been repatriated back home safely. I would like to thank everyone that pushed and prayed for my return.
