Hipipo Music Award 2020 to be held on the 29th May 2020.

Since the government’s directives to cub the spread of COVID-19 speaks against public gathering, the HIPIPO music Award finale that was earlier on schedule for 16th March, 2020 at Serena Hotel, Kampala Will now be held on the 29th May 2020.

This time its going to be a live virtual events awarding winners in over 40 HiPipo music categories across Africa as voted by the fans.
The event Will have top notch performance from Sheebah karungi, Kenneth Mugabi, Rođen Y, Triplets ghetto kids, Kian Banks, Triple S and many others.

The event is said to be live on HiPipo official Facebook page on Friday 29th, May, 2020 at 8:00pm of which it Will later be uploaded on HiPipo’s Youtube account and other media Platforms and everyone Will enjoy from the comfort of their homes.

Singer Bobi Wine also Kyadondo East’s Member of Parliament on Sunday 28th June 2020 held a Scientific Concert termed Freedom Concert. Kenya drags Uganda to court over rise in L.Victoria water levels citing foul play at Nalubale Dam

A team of Kenyan lawyers has dragged Uganda to court over the unprecedented rise in the water levels of Lake Victoria which has caused floods in the Nyanza region. The team led by former Law Society of Kenya (LSK) President, Isaac Oker o, filed the petition at the East Africa Court of Justice against Uganda. This is after it emerged that an attempt by Uganda to meet the demand for electricity could be behind the floods that have rendered thousands of Kenyans homeless in the lake region. The East Africa Community Council of Ministers suggest Uganda may have breached the agreements on how much water to release from Nalubale Dam. President Museveni in his 16th address on Corona virus updates speaks about the reopening of schools and other educational institutions and he said Education institutions will stay closed. Its still too risky to open schools. In the meantime, government will launch a big long-distance education programme through radios. Each homestead will get a radio set.
