Uganda confirms 10 New COVID-19 Cases

Yesterday, 20 May, 2020, 10 new COVID-19 cases were confirmed in Uganda with 9 new cases being truck drivers while 1 case is a contact case.
Following a Presidential Directive of deducting all foreign truck drivers from Uganda’s total confirmed case count, the confirmed COVID-19 cases now stand at 145.


11 foreign truck drivers handed over to their country of originThe total Samples of truck drivers tested today are: 1,264 and the community samples tested are: 233 giving the Total samples tested to stand at: 1,497. No COVID-19 related death registered to-date in Uganda as per the ministry of health - Uganda.
